Whole foods consistently has the best Beef Ribs in these parts. Reasor's often has cryovac packed also. The price is MUCH nicer at both places, when you buy them in slabs and trim them up yourself!!

Man I'd have to drive a ways to get to a whole foods. Went to Wally World tonight. Nothing! Got some good pork to make my sausage this weekend though!

If you're serious about beef ribs and have the freezer space, find a meat guy who let you order them by the case. Best way I've found yet to score beef ribs (chuck or plate) and pork bellies for bacon. Enjoy!

Yea, unfortunately as I had said in my post, the meat markets around here that I always deal with won't even sell them, cut them, or order them. Down here in East TX, believe it or not, beef ribs are just not a money maker for anybody. It's brisket, or brisket. Pretty sad in these parts! I'll be heading to Austin here in a few weeks. Beef plate ribs are a thang up there around Arron Franklins's BBQ. There has to be a place where I can pick some up.

They carry bones. LOL. The full plate is hard to get I guess. I buy what HEB has, they are better than others but still scrap bones really. Good eating none the less though!
