I'm really kind or surprised that not more is being discussed on lab produced steak...
There are a few ways to tell what is lab grown.
Of course, stores aren't going to label them as lab grown.
There's a small code on the package that begins with a "C" then i forget what it says, but underneath is a bar code. I'll look it back up tomorrow.
It also must display the "Cellular Origin" which is the reveal.
Second, put the unpacked "steak" in fairly warm water with some salt. It will literally disintegrate.
That doesn’t bother me near as much as a few people who always answer by “quote” instead of just commenting below the original post.. 🥸 Why insert a previously posted post in the middle of a thread when just answering them in a “comment” is sufficient. 🤷♂️

Still illegal to sell it for human consumption here in the UK, although that is supposed to change in 2027. It is legal to sell it for pet food though, not that I would inflict it on them.
