Temu, if you're thankfully not familiar with it, is a discount online market based in China. It sells ultra-cheap stuff (in price and quality) that is often quite not worth the price you paid for it (and certainly the wait time to get it).

Earlier this year, Delish contributing editor Steven Morea decided to take a chance on Temu's steak offerings, which, curiously, were not cheap. You don’t need to buy from a foreign based company to experience what the writer did. Just buy your meats at a roadside or parking lot popup tent. “20 Ribeyes for $40” is a popular sign handing from them.
Coming soon to a parking lot near you. And yes, it is a scam. (I was the president of our business park condominium owners association for years. With a large parking lot at the intersection of two major roads I can hardly count the number of times I had to have ventures of this sort removed from our property on weekends.)
