I just received my order of 2 briskets from SRF. There was no dry ice in the box. The flat on both briskets was thawed while the points were still frozen. My plan was to corn the prime piece and make pastrami with it. I could swear I ordered choice, but that's another story. I was planning to keep the wagyu piece frozen for now and save it for a special occasion. Right now, the prime is in the fridge to defrost the rest of the way and the wagyu is in the freezer. Am I okay keeping to my plan? I'm less worried about the prime which was going to get defrosted now anyway, but refreezing the wagyu's flat worries me.

It's more than likely fine. I'll press a thermometer firmly against the outer packaging just to make sure it isn't much over 60. But even then with beef it would take a lot of time to really cause a food safety hazard.

Unless it was well above the 40F mark, I personally wouldn't be worried about it. I am a bit disappointed they didn't include any cold packs with it - especially at the prices you pay. I suppose they thought the two briskets were two huge chunks of ice themselves and any further ice wouldn't help much.
Do you have details on how long it was in transit? I've heard they're pretty good about refunding in situations like this. I'd definitely reach out to them tomorrow... again, at the prices you pay for this stuff, having something you're "uncomfortable" about isn't really acceptable.

Current line-up of cookers: Oklahoma Joe's Bronco Pro, Masterbuilt Gravity Series 1050, Blackstone ProSeries 4 Burner 36" griddle, Weber Performer Deluxe and Weber Smokey Joe.
In my limited experience with this sort of thing, I think deliveries of frozen meat during the summer are a crap shoot at best. These are vacuum sealed, correct? I would just proceed as planned.

Thanks for the assistance and advice guys.
Some clarification - They did include dry ice in the insulated box the meat was in. The dry ice had all dissipated by the time it reached me.
The meat is vacuum sealed.
The thawed flats were near room temperature upon arrival.
I also normally don't order meat deliveries in the summer, but got sucked in by their buy 2 briskets get 20% off deal.
Jerod Broussard I have some vague memories of it, but what is this winter you speak of?
