About 4,000 meat packers have announced a strike against JBS scheduled to begin this coming Monday. According to the article this will be the first strike in decades.

Yeah Bo and his company Pilgrims Pride have had quit a few negative press scandals lately. He lives about a mile from our farm and his chicken houses are on both sides of ours. The meat packing industry IMO is one of the reasons beef prices are so high. I can tell you its not because of lack of "on hoof inventory" lol.

Here they (mostly Chinese owned corps, like Smithfield) bought all the packers up, then slowly shut them down until they were only servicing their own livestock, then bought up all the mom and pops that couldn't afford to wait in line or find another option and had to sell
