USDA Prime Whole Ribeye at Costco 11/14 - 11/16/25

This weekend, Nov 14 - 16, 2025 Costco has whole USDA Prime Ribeye Roast for $75.00 off per package. It's a good time to get that holiday roast. Or to even slice one up in to individual steaks.

I was there yesterday and the sale hadn't started yet. I won't be able to get there this weekend so I missed out. Oh, I know, would you grab me one? And deliver? No? Oh, alright. I understand.

Whoa. Too bad the nearest Costco is 90 minutes away, and we aren’t members.

Too bad I saw this on the 17th, sigh. I'm not a member either but would be worth the price of admission. Specially iffin you grabbed two.

We aren’t doing a roast for Thanksgiving this year, but at that price I may need to toss me in the deep freeze!

EDIT: toss *one* in the deep freeze. 🤣

I was there yesterday. I saw the roasts in the meat case. Not on sale yet. 🫤
The store is just 3 miles away so may need to grab one. Thanks for the tip!

It depends on the weight of the piece but it comes out to a little over $4.00/lb, roughly figured. One piece that I looked at in a photo in a FB group showed that piece going from $328.24 down to $253.24 after taking off the $75.00. That ended up being about $15.42/lb instead of $19.99/lb.

Thanks, I feel better now. I just picked up a 16 pound prime rib, bone out for 19.99 lb. It's local cattle freshly cut and has always been fantastic. I don't mind paying a bit more for fresh local. I have probably driven past that animal many times.....

WARNING: The enabling here is gettin’ outta control!

Yesterday I was just layin’ on the couch minding my own business, and then OC Sandy has to go and post this damn sale thing at Costco….. Because of extreme peer pressure, I just had to go see what all the hoopla was about this morning.

There was practically a fist fight at the ribeye bin!
Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_5714.jpg Views:	0 Size:	3.48 MB ID:	1789181

I grabbed the smallest one I could find. After the bin was re-filled again, about 1/2 of them were gone in 5 minutes!
Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_5712.jpg Views:	0 Size:	3.20 MB ID:	1789183

Regular pre-cut Prime Ribeye steaks were $25.99 lb… Before the $75. discount off each package, the primal was $19.99 lb
Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_5715.jpg Views:	0 Size:	2.34 MB ID:	1789182

        My primal was 14.25 lbs
Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_5718.jpg Views:	0 Size:	3.52 MB ID:	1789187

After trimming a little off each end, I was able to get 12 steaks, each about 1 1/2” thick.

Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_5720.jpg Views:	0 Size:	3.68 MB ID:	1789180

Prepare for an onslaught of ribeye cooks from me at SUWYC for a while….😂
Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_5721.jpg Views:	0 Size:	2.74 MB ID:	1789184

Talk about a deal! After my $75. discount off the total price, my cost per pound for Prime ribeyes was $14.72 per lb. Way less than the price of pre-cut Prime ribeye steaks in the package! [$26.99 lb]
Thanks for the heads up OC Sandy !

I grabbed two of these today. 14-15 lbs. Planning to cut one into big 2” steaks and maybe split the other into two roasts. Great deal in this beef economy.

Must be the same the world over, even at around 3500 miles away everyone likes a bargain!

Although I am a Costco member here in the UK it is a ferry ride away and tends not to have really good deals on meat although the quality is good. However on walking in to my butchers a couple of days ago I found this deal on prime locally bred rib eye, the prices shown are pre discount and together with my Blue Light emergency services discount card scored a 40% discount plus the steaks were ready cut and vacuum sealed! Rough maths indicates around 15$ a pound, happy days given rib eye is my favourite steak by a country mile.

Well….I haven’t bought one of these in a few years, but I may have the wife check these out this week when she goes. I haven’t dry aged in a while as well, so….lets see what we find! Thanks for sharing!

Trimmed up my first one of these today. Not bad at all, just slow and steady with a sharp Rapala knife to keep as much meat as possible. I ended up with 9 1.5-2.5" thick steaks. The "tail" was still on, which on most of the steaks was basically a wedge of fat with some meat, so I trimmed those off and reserved for grinding (have a bunch of leaner trim that could use the fat), as well as reserving the two end cuts for stir fry, or more likely, a quick cook for a midnight snack.
