Going to take a prime rib down to the kids house for Xmas dinner. I always roast mine here in a convection oven, Roast Convection mode at 225. They always come out perfect. The kids oven only has an Air Fry mode, not convection. The air fry mode has a more intense fan speed, not the same as convection. Anybody have any experience roasting in the Air Fry mode?

Find out what model you'll be using and check the manufacturer website for recipe ideas. I've also found several YouTube channels that specializes in Ninja products I have.

The oven in our new house has an air fry mode, but we haven’t used it yet. My first thought is to cook it in a normal roast mode most of the way, then kick on air fry mode to give a nice bark near the end.
…at least that’s how I hope it’d work!
