    Another Simple Cook - NY Strips

    Howdy Meathead Maniacs!
    Here it is Tuesday evening and I found a package of NY Strips on sale at Sam's Club today. They followed me home! They were so dadgummed cute!
    Here is a pic of the NY Strip in its natural state ...

    These were MONSTER strips ... and I had to wave the white napkin. Oh well, lunch tomorrow will be droolicious! Thanks for looking!

      Thanks! Not everything turns out awesome ... but most do! Folks don't complain much at the table. I wonder if that ball bat by the chair has anything to do with it!?

      Just liquify the steak in a VitaMix!

      I wish you well with your liquid diet. Please tell me that diet includes an adult beverage every other hour!

      CeramicChef I wish...Not today. I have foot and calf surgery at 1pm today. Then I'm done with all of this nonsense. Gimpy for 6 weeks but a boot beats a cast. I'm think of parking it outside this weekend and teaching the 10 year old to count coals and light the cube before he heads off to baseball. Cocktails are coming soon.Cheers my friend!!

        Spinaker - Thanks! I appreciate it. Yeah, those grates are the very real deal. They store a lot of heat and always give great sear marks. If you really want to see the real deal, come on out to OKC and I'll give you a tour of TheBeast!
