I have an Anova oven. I bought it initially for the steam bake feature, but once in hand I've come to appreciate many more of the features it has. Being able to use the lower temperatures (than a typical built in oven) is one of them.
Uncle Bob I looked it up. Nice. Would yours hold a full brisket packer (13+ lbs after cooking)? I'm looking at modifying my 22" WSM with an electric heating element to use as a holding oven for large cuts.
TripleB, this packer was 13 pre cook and fit with room to spare all around. The chamber is 12 deep and 16 wide so anything that ends up within those dimensions should fit.
Does this ever happen to me? Man, if I had a nickel for every time a neighbor knocked on my door with an awesome brisket, I would have zero nickels. Are you kidding??? Oh. Yeah, you are kidding. Nevermind. I'll show myself out...
