Uh, HEB, methinks your ad copywriter could use a vacation.

I don't care what they call it, I'd buy up a bunch of that!

I’m glad they took the time to remove the skin. Healthier that way! 😂

        Less leathery that way too.

      If I can’t get bone-in skirt steak I ain’t buying it!

Well, I will point out that it is SELECT grade. Maybe SELECT skirts still come with cow hide and fur attached?

That said, with proper marinade, and slicing into VERY THIN slices, maybe select will be fine for fajitas or tacos. I wouldn't want to chew on a select NY strip though...

Ooooohhhh good catch, I didn't see that. Of course, it makes sense that Select is the only way I can afford beef these days. lol

realdocBBQ I hear ya! I'm looking at a Kroger sale ad right now for choice briskets at $2.99 a pound, and gonna have to pass. Too many medical bills and crap going on right now to justify stocking the deepfreeze with more meat.

Yeah we don't get sales like that. I can't recall ever seeing these $.99/lb pork butt and certainly no $2.99/lb brisket for probably 4 years or more.

Wonder what they'd charge for beef spareribs.

I could eat skirt steak everyday for the rest of my life. Even if it is select, you make a good taco out of it and all will be forgiven.

I think I could much the same but I’d be making Fajitas.

Tough to be fajitas too. Sizzling hot right off the grill onto a comal.

I def prefer my skirt steaks with the skin on. Adds a little more flavor as the fat renders, and gets nice and crunchy! 😎🐔🤣🤣
