Meat recalls are not exclusive to Walmart…while I also rarely buy meat from them, the times I had it’s been pretty good. I’ve picked up quite a few nice Choice porterhouse steaks from them over the years.

I have bought MANY racks of delectable spareribs at Walmart over the years. Always in cryovac from the packer. Never ground beef, though.

I’ve bought ground meat there before, 80/20, never had a problem with it. It was just like any other hamburger meat sold elsewhere. Now, ONE time I bought that crap hamburger meat sold in the 5 lb. tubes, that was some crappy stuff. I didn’t buy it at Walmart though, it was from Kroger. I’ll never buy that stuff again from anyone.
