This wasn't an option, so I said eat both... but I just tonight had half a ribeye I couldn't finish yesterday, and I sliced it up and made a steak salad with it... so that is what I would do!

- If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.

First off I'm not eatin meat from a soo veed. Not that there is anything wrong with it, just not buyin a soo veeder mochine, ever. Second, what’s this talk of salad, this is Amazing Wibs not amazing greens or veggies. Third, yer proposin a day old salad? Fourth, ya put a wib eye in front of me I’m eatin it, the whole thing! Fifth, take it! It’ll make ya sound important & legal like.

Given that I can’t stand raw tomatoes outside a pico de gallo and I don’t like blue cheese dressing, leaving the salad was an easy call for me.

I will come back and confess what I have done many times... I have many times finished a steak, and scraped salad and other veggies off my plate and into the trash, and covered with some other trash so that SWMBO didn't realize I was throwing away uneaten veggies and/or salad.... 🤪 Kinda like I hid stuff I didn't like under a napkin as a kid, thinking my parents wouldn't see it...
