The family isn’t crazy about turkey and it’s not my favorite thing to cook. Wild Fork opened a brick and mortar store in Evanston IL where I work.
Our Thanksgiving meal was a Wild Fork 3-bone prime rib roast. Mrs O’s cow crust, KBB, small piece of pecan, 250 degrees until 115 IT, seared over coals. OK Joe Bronco for smoke and sear .Made gravy with the roasted rib roast bones.
First time purchasing a Wild Fork product. Let’s just say working 5 mins from a store is going to be dangerous. First time searing on the Bronco. Generated enough heat and can raise coals close to the grate. The challenge is the grate is relatively small and there is no room to avoid flare ups.
This is the best Thanksgiving “turkey” we’ve ever cooked.
