    Steak night at home

    Sunday evenings the wife and I like to kick back with a nice grilled steak. Last night was a pair of ribeyes from the beef we just had butchered. Look at that spinalis muscle! They were so good! Click image for larger version

      Wow that is beautiful! I put the calculator to it, we have just a touch over 4 dollars a pound invested in our beef. That includes the steaks, roasts, and hamburger meat. We had them save us a bunch of soup bones and tallow too.

      That is a very nice grill setup. It’s a live fire charbroiled. Pure class!

      Looks like they're cut from the small end. That is my favorite rib-eye cut. Perfecto
