My pellets stopped feeding on overnight brisket smoking, can it be saved?

I put a brisket on my Camp Chef Woodwind last night. I had the hopper over 2/3rd full and figured that would be enough for overnight. Checked it every 90-120 minutes until it hit the stall and I wrapped in butcher paper. Then I went to sleep. Woke up about 4 hours later, checked my phone and had a message saying flame out add pellets.

Went out and checked the hopped and basically the gravity feed made a hole and a bunch of pellets just didn't allow gravity to drop down. I refilled the hopper, restarted the smoker and waited to make sure it went back up to temp.

The thermometer showed it had cooled to about 159, so just a few degrees from when I wrapped it. If I had to guess, the smoker was out for at least 1 hour, maybe 90 minutes.

My question is, has anyone had this happen before and can the meat be saved or am I about to have a 12lbs piece of beef jerky?

Normally I get an alarm if the temp drops unexpectedly. For some reason nothing last night.

You good. Just keep chugging along. Make sure and check for probe tenderness early.

    Appreciate it.

Maybe I only sacrificed a couple hours of cooking time. Just have to delay dinner a bit...

I'll post later on how it came out!

You can always turn up the heat.

I think you're in good company Jason, most of us have been there, perhaps several times. 3 weeks ago or so I was cooking beef ribs. After I wrap my beef ribs I transfer them to the pellet cooker once the charcoal starts dying out. Well, mid cook the pellets in the hopper bridged, and guess what? I didn't have my thermometer's alarms on and didn't notice the whole things had cooled to ambient temp and the ribs lost ~60 degrees of temp. Must've been a good 2 hours, needless to say very late dinner

Consider it a longer stall and keep going.
