Local market has corned beef points on sale...

And son of a gun, I don't have time to cook anything for the next week, and I have no room at all in the freezer. It's not too big of a deal I guess, it's just the money savings. But man, everyone loves a deal, and I almost never see points, corned or not.

My local store is the same way, there's never corned points until this time of year, and then there's hundreds of them and they're on sale. I'm quite sure they're Select though, hence the sale price. I actually preferred the flats I've done in the past compared to the point I did last week. It was mostly fat that needed trimmed and I've never had that w/ the flats. My yield was disappointing.

Huskee , the points I got were very fatty, but man, they are GUUUD! Tender, moist, succulent.....WOW!

Worth the lower yield to me.

Can't wait to make pastrami with the points!
