    Brisket help

    I've been working all day fixing the backyard for my daughters graduation BBQ and I am tired. I also have to throw the meat on. I have Meathead's red meat rub and I want to season this brisket and get it on. Is this a steak type rub or can I throw it on my brisket lazily and be OK? Thoughts? Its a wild fork choice Angus with a thin flat, only 11 lbs but I trimmed it to 9.5

        It works best if you take each herb, spice, and strategically place it on the brisket with great thought and care with how the person eating will savor each bite. Shouldn't take more than a few hours.. Dash it about and get to smoking.
