Brisket, Pulled Pork, and a FaceTime from Christian McCaffrey

A pretty epic birthday party on Saturday for my 7 year old son. It was a “sports themed” birthday party. I cooked brisket and 4 pork butts in the offset. We also had ice cream pie for dessert.

What was unexpected was one of the guys who came to the party is friends with NFL running back, Christian McCaffrey. He whips out his phone and FaceTimes him. And CMC wished my 7 year old a happy birthday. It was so special!! I was shocked that he got him on the phone. How in the world, as parents, are we going to beat that for next year!?!? 😅

CMC is a good dude, enjoyed watching him play with the Panthers... but much happier he's a 9er now

I'm glad for him that he landed where he did with the 49ers He did some great things for my fantasy football team the past several years with the Panthers, but man he was heavily used. Maybe now he will be somewhat less crippled later in life.
