    Freeze tied beef

    I am wondering if I screwed this up. With a change in plans, this ribeye roast had to go into the freezer. There is no seasoning on it, but I left it tied. Are there ill effects of leaving it tied and freezing it?

    My thought was, one step less when I am ready to cook it.

    No issues I can think of. I've got tied roasts in the deep freeze as I type this. I tied them up, vacuum sealed them and froze them that way intentionally.

        Two or Three years ago NYE mine went back into the freezer tied and rubbed. Tossed it on the kettle for Easter.

        It did not suck!!
