My name is Steve, and I can't stop buying briskets

Kroger keeps setting them up and I keep knocking them down. This is my 3rd one in two weeks. I might have a problem.

Same, Greygoose. It's when they inexplicably mark them down to $1.99 that I lose all self-control.

Nothing wrong with purchasing briskets, not even 12. TRIMMING those things is where the problem comes in.

I have 4 or 5 in the freezer. My problem is finding the time to cook them.

That will be my next problem, or maybe #3 once my freezer gets full.

I get nervous when I don't have brisket in the BBQ fridge. I shop for brisket at every store that sells brisket. I don't always buy it, but if there's brisket in a store I'm looking at it. I passed on the briskets at Kroger this weekend because I already have two in the fridge...Good deal you got there!

I’d be more worried if you passed that one up…

I keep hearing that beef prices are going to go sky high. How can I pass on that? I guess that makes me a prepper.

I understand, I just added 2 more pork butts from Kroger in the freezer. Hard to pass these deals by. The tri tip went straight to the kettle yesterday. Now I need to restock charcoal.
