    Beef Tallow Crunchy Bits?

    I just finished making my very first batch of beef tallow and I'm wondering what you all do with the leftover crunchy bits; garbage, a little salt and then consume them, something else?

    If they aren't too burnt i put them on a salad or just pick at them while i'm cooking. Otherwise they become treats for my cooking partners.

      Great topping for big baked potato with sour cream, or use as a topping for good ole chili and cheese with onions

        My great-grandma put the pork version of those in a brown paper sack and we called them "cracklin's." We ate them as snacks. The paper bags would look like they were wet because of the grease they soaked up. They do make good dog treats (according to the dog--not the vet).
