I'm going to attempt my first reverse sear. I'm going to use a pellet grill and then have my gas grilled heated up to reverse sear it. I've read in the techniques could possibly use heated cast iron or griddle which I might do for the first run.
But I wanted to know if anyone has tried to sear on a super heated salt block and what were your results? I've been intrigued by salt block cooking and thought it sounds like it would fit in nicely.
