    Final results! Everyone agreed both pastramis were excellent and equally tender, moisture and pull apart. However, the Masterbuilt chunk (left in the pic below) was significantly more peppery so I guess I didn’t quite apply the same amount of rub to each? So, the MB won 3-0. The slices below are all Akorn as we sliced a few slices off the MB chunk later for the purposes of voting.

    That said, we are all winners today with tons of lovely pastrami to eat. Yum!
