Allowing an extra 30 minutes was not long enough. Lesson learned.
We had a special event to attend this Friday 1/15
I was planning a 32 oz Tomahawk steak reversed for dinner before leaving for the event.
My Traeger did not come up to temperature as planned. Time was ticking away.
So I purged the pellets, did a quick vacuuming out of pellet dust from the hopper, and feed auger.
Fille the hopper up with more pellets, all while my grill was still running with alarms going off for low pellets.
Got the temperature up, 225*F super smoke.
Was able to finish the cook at a higher temperature. But in panic mode steak was a little undercooked
Well, it might have been undercooked but hopefully, it looks good.
