    Prime Rib first time

If you do it reverse sear way, you don't fail a prime rib:

    - I used weber kettle to cook.
    - lychee charcoal
    - brushed with butter/chapped rosemary
    - about five hours slow roast (120C)
    - Internal temperature about 55C-60C

Beautiful! And excellent photography skills too. That is one of the thickest servings of prime rib I've ever seen, did you manage to eat all that??? And a 2009 Valpolicella...! Very nice.

It doesn't get any better than that. I'm willing to bet it tasted every bit as good as it looks!

The butter knife is facing the wrong direction, that just ruined the whole thing for me. /sarc

Beautiful looking roast and nice photo's.
