I purchased my rib roasts from butcher on Friday. I salted the roasts and & ribs that day. When do I need to cook or freeze the 6 rib bones I have in the fridge by?

A week, that is my understanding with proper storage.
What confuses matters is aging meat.
Nevertheless, as the rule of thumb, use it within a few days or in the freezer it goes.
