All these chuck roast threads got the best of my curiosity, so I cooked one yesterday on the drum. Just salt and pepper for the rub, and a few hickory chunks for smoke. Wrapped in foil when it hit 168 and let it ride to 210. Added some baked beans and sour cream and cheese mashed taters to the plate, and it was delicious! My Bride was skeptical, but after supper she said that this is definitely worth a do over.
