    That looks amazing! What were the cooking temps, length of cook, and I assume probe tender temp?

    Ricky Bobby it was absolutely the best brisket Iโ€™ve done. Iโ€™m terrible with pictures but here are my efforts. STEbbq the Akaushi brisket is legit. You all have fun on bark Friday!

    HawkerXP gave me an idea. I’ve always wanted to sometimes make fun or post sarcastic comments about some of the cooks we’ve posted. In a teasing manner. Most everyone here are damn good cooks, except for me. I know we have a lot of closet comedians here at AR also. I thought it might be fun to see people post some pictures

    Indeed, it's glaringly obvious that folks here are very generous with their time and expertise, and I muchly appreciate that. Also, it's just my wife and me, and we'd probably have to eat brisket every meal for a week to get through one! Will try eventually.

    Picked up my packer from Costco! Smaller than I usually go for, but SWMBO reminded me that it is just us for thanksgiving this year and that we will already have Turkey left overs, so she restricted the size. Lol! RickyBobby is excited. $4.39 per pound for Prime. Seriously looking forward to the updates from everybody who will be cooking!! And even more excited about those that will be following along and living that Bark Friday life vicariously through the Pit!!!!

    Only one way to learn, brother! Jump in head first! Thatโ€™s how I learned and several of the rest of us here in the pit. Besides, itโ€™s almost impossible to fail at anything as a member of the pit. Best support system I know! (Even if you donโ€™t get in on the Black Friday brisket cook, we still have your back!).
