    Roast beef

    This week I'm going to smoke a beef roast for roast beef sandwiches. My local store has both eye of the round and bottom round available, which cut is recommended for roast beef sandwiches?

    Just my opinion but I do make Baltimore Pit Beef quite often. Bottom round. Eye just seems to dry out too much when cooking over fire. Again just my observation.

      Bottom Round. No more done than medium or it will dry out.
