Just got back from local Walmart, Sweet Baby Ray's on sale for $1.50 a bottle.
That's half price up here.
Don't know whether this is an instore special or chain wide but grabbed a dozen bottles.
Sweet Baby Ray's sure is not a vinegar based sauce and I keep a bottle in the frig for people that insist on sauce on there ribs. It was developed only in 1965. Just like I keep other sauces on hand from KC and TX and NC. I probably keep 8 different sauces around and 3 are vinegar based,.from the Carolinas.
mountainsmoker 10-4 Tomato based BBQ sauces are king in these parts except for a handful of progressive pits that are few and far between up here.
I don't remember ever trying a vinegar based sauce so cannot in all honesty comment on them.
Road trip into Toronto today and a stop at BBQ Galore is on the agenda, will see if they carry such a vinegar based beast.
