    Issue with images

Noticed this on a few random posts, refreshed cache, still does it.. maybe something to do with server change?

Anyway, go to post, initially loads picture, then reverts to a message.. Happens on Edge and Chrome

This post is an example, saw it on a few other posts, but it isn't happening on SUWYC

Yep. I think this is due either the internal cache (vbulletin), the server cache (PHP-FPM or Apache), or the CDN (cloudflare). Or some combination of those.

I will try clearing these caches. See if that helps.

PS: yep, it is due to the new server and thanks for the screenshots!

I spoke to soon. It happened a few minutes ago in SYWYC on Panhead John's post. Of course that may explain why.
CtrlF5 will correct it but then after about 5 seconds it was back

What the hell? One of MY posts is screwing up? Please fix it ASAP! Probably an intelligent and well thought out post full of important information critical to The Pit.

I will try to work on figuring this out.

            I still suspect caching issues.

Please provide a link to the affected post so I can investigate them directly.

Thanks for the link! That helped lead me to the problem. Only took a few hours of testing and debugging.

I will be working on a fix. I should have that done today or tomorrow.

Note: this is not an issue with cache.

Update. Forgot to post this yesterday. This should be fixed.

This was primarily effecting Chrome and chrome based browsers (like Brave).

                    It's still happening to me.

I'm running Chrome 93. Specifically, my user agent string is "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/93.0.4577.82 Safari/537.36"

What is truly odd about this is that the images show up properly for about a second, then they become the links. Ray, is it a stylesheet issue?

It's doing it with youtube videos now too, they show an empty box instead of a preview window and you have to click twice before they will play

Same thing this morning for me (don't mean to pile on, Chrome user too) in SUWYC. Funny thing I clicked on the descriptive string on the first picture and all the pictures popped up. Seems like it's at least somewhat fixed for me.

                    Our Favorite Backyard Smoker

The amazing Karubecue is the most innovative smoker in the world. The quality of meat from this machine is astonishing. At its crux is a patented firebox that burns logs above the cooking chamber and sucks heat and extremely clean blue smoke into the thermostat controlled oven. It is our favorite smoker, period.

The Pit Barrel Cooker May Be Too Easy

The PBC has a rabid cult following for good reason. It is absolutely positively without a doubt the best bargain on a smoker in the world. Period. This baby will cook circles around the cheap offset sideways barrel smokers because temperature control is so much easier.

Masterbuilt MPS 340/G ThermoTemp XL Propane Smoker

This is the first propane smoker with a thermostat, making this baby foolproof. Set ThermoTemp’s dial from 175° to 350°F and the thermostat inside will adjust the burner just like an indoor kitchen oven. All you need to do is add wood to the tray above the burner to start smokin’.

Is This Superb Charcoal Grill A Kamado Killer?

The PK-360, with 360 square inches of cooking space, this rust free, cast aluminum charcoal grill is durable and easy to use. Four-way venting means it’s easy to set up for two zone cooking with more control than single vent Kamado grills. It is beautifully designed, completely portable, and much easier to set up for 2-zone cooking than any round kamado.
