Wanted to thank the PIT for the info and advice RE: Santa Maria's, Firebrick, etc
(Esp Steve B , Dan Deter , ecowper and others!)
Out of abundance of caution, I found a relatively cheap masonry blade for my Mitre Saw on Amazon and it worked like a champ....
7 Boxes of Firebrick, had the bricks stand tall near the Brasero and longer around the cooking area (my Grate can be lowered to the very bottom...now 4. 5 inches from the bottom). Was not sure how to work around that upright ...for a hack, I am pretty happy with the result.
Notes:
Picked up the Rig on Sunday
Firebrick was delivered and I installed it on Tuesday
1st Cook on Wednesday
I will post other pics in SUWYC and Feed The Flame
Plan to work on a product review in the next day or so
Thanx again for riding along
