I dunno. If you like it, I guess it’s okay. If you served it to me, I’d probably eat it. If it was in a crock pot at a picnic, I’d probably try a couple spoonfuls out of curiosity and politeness.
But otherwise, nah. If I made it I’d have to eat it for a week, and I can tell I won’t like it that much past a few bites.
HaHaHa I read the first one. Her friend won the neighborhood chili cook off with this. I have a friend who won a chili cook off “in a neighboring state” with a pot full of Hormel chili that had a tablespoon full of red chili powder and two beers added to it.
I wouldn’t turn it down out of hand, may want my pineapple on the side so I could ease into it. That third recipe would be my choice but I would add beans (with apologies to my TX Pit club friends). I’d probably dial back on the chili powder too - 1/4 cup sounds like a non-stop, direct flight to heartburn for me.
Kinda but not really related...my dad made a banana curry (dont ask me why) a long time ago that was hands down the most disgusting thing ive ever tasted. Pineapple chili i could at least see being palatable, lol.
