    Family Rebellion Summer Salad

    Dressing:
    ¼ c oil
    2 Tbsp parsley flake
    2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
    ½ tsp salt
    ¼ tsp pepper
    1 clove garlic, finely minced

Combine last 5 ingredients and whisk into oil. Whisk until well-blended.

16 oz can green beans, drained
16 oz can kidney beans, drained
1 cup cherry tomatoes, chopped in half
    ½ c black olives, sliced
    1 medium red onion, chopped

    Combine, cover, and refrigerate.

Beautiful. We make something similar in two batches, one as is and the other with small cubes of pepper jack cheese.

Thanks for posting. I need to start making this. Actually, my wife needs to start making this while I take care of the outdoor cooking, which she has no interest in doing. She has embraced Meathead's Thai cucumber salad, and it is always a hit, but we could use another good side that is different from the stuff everybody else makes.
