    Sweet Mustard BBQ Rub

    I’ve posted this recipe when I made ribs with this rub I came up with but I figured I’d post it here for all to see.

    Sweet Mustard BBQ Rub:

    1/4 cup light brown sugar
    1/4 cup coarse ground mustard seeds
    2 Tbsp Kosher salt
    2 Tbsp coarse ground black pepper
    2 Tbsp granulated onion
    1 Tbsp paprika
    1 tsp ground rosemary
    1 tsp ground sage
    1 tsp ground thyme

    I buy whole mustard seeds and coarse grind them myself with my spice/coffee grinder.

    I’ve used this on ribs, pork butt and chicken kabobs. A nice change of pace from the usual BBQ rubs. I’ll pair this with my Sweet Carolina Honey Mustard BBQ sauce. I’ve posted that here https://pitmaster.amazingribs.com/fo...tard-bbq-sauce

    Is that 1/4 cup of mustard seeds before or after grinding?
