Pumpkin Spice BBQ Rub
Bring out all of the great flavors of the fall with this delicious sweet, full-flavor rub. This rub takes no time to whip up is the perfect sweet on chicken and pork and serve with a side of your favorite espresso drink

Ingredients:
Combine above ingredients in a bowl and mix with a fork until well blended. If there’s clumps from the brown sugar, smush them with the back of a spoon and keep mixing.
Apply as much rub as you’d like to your meat and throw it on your grill!

- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons kosher salt
- 1 Tablespoon coarse cracked black pepper (halve this if using a finer grind)
- 1 Tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 Tablespoon onion powder
- 1 Teaspoon chili powder
- 1 Teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 Teaspoon turmeric
- 1 Teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 Teaspoon fine ground coffee
- 1 Teaspoon dried basil

Ingredients
- 1 15oz can of pureed pumpkin
- 1 cup of ketchup
- 1 cup pure maple syrup
- 2/3 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 cup sugar (brown sugar for richer flavor)
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp ground clove
- 1 tbsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tbsp cayenne pepper powder
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- Combine all ingredients into medium sauce pan over
medium-high heat - Bring the mixture to a light boil and then simmer on medium
heat - The sauce will be quite thick from the pumpkin puree so be
sure to stir intermittently to prevent burning on the bottom of the pan - Allow the mixture to simmer for 20-30 minutes or until it
has reached a desirable thickness - Remove from heat and transfer to a mason jar, let the flavors develop overnight in the fridge before serving
