Pink salt. Celery salt is BS. Why? Because you want to control the nitrates you add and pink salt (SPECIFICALLY curing salt, Prague powder #1, not Himalayan pink salt) has a precise percentage, allowing you to do that.
Also, liars will say something is uncured when adding celery salt and the point of adding celery salt is that celery has... nitrates. So you're still adding nitrates, just not in a controlled manner.Last edited by rickgregory; May 7, 2021, 09:55 AM.
