I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I put it in my food.

One cannot have too many grills.

How's it do on long low & slows? I know the first version they came out with was a fail according to Max's tests, for multiple quality control reasons. I also know they reworked it, but have never heard any firsthand experience with the new one regarding low & slow.

W.A. Well the RT-380 Bullseye is back in stock. Really considering it. You’ve had yours for a few weeks now. Pros? Cons?

How is pellet consumption at searing temps?
How long to get up to searing temp?
What can it do that my RT-700 cannot to besides searing?
          Additional thoughts?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Ok. I like it. The grate is porcelain coated, but i think 22 weber grates will fit. There is a safety grate in the hopper- remove that. Not wifi. Have to toggle to show meat, grill or set temp. It is a pellet hog on riot mode. Couple times i thought it lit, but had to restart to get going. Other than these minor things I love it. It is really not for smoking, but you can do that for sure. I made pizza, steaks, burger, wings, and fish on it. I have 2 Grill Grates that can fit in it- 18”.

It gets to searing temp of > 700F in maybe ten minutes. I did not time it though so might be even quicker than that

        the good one grill
The Good-One Open Range is dramatically different from a traditional offset smoker. By placing the heat source behind and under the smokebox instead of off to the side, Open Range produces even temperature from left to right, something almost impossible to achieve with a standard barrel shaped offset.
