I used the Chick Magnet on some drums and thighs the other day. It was pretty good.

captainlee Do I remember correctly that you were going to do some ribs with Sucklebusters Meat Candy? If so how did they come out?

Yes, they came out great. Again I could of used a bit more rub but we enjoyed them. Right now I have a pork butt on the smoker, not injected, and a good heavy dose of the Meat Candy. Prepping for additional tgiving weekend meals for our party of 18.

We did screw up and forgot to buy a lime to put some lime rind on a few like BarbBQ . that was another level of flavor.

The bark on the pork butt came out great. I did use a generous amount of the Meat Candy. Smoked at 265 and this butt just ran through the alleged stall, go figure you never know.

I did some St Louis ribs with Sucklebuster’s Meat Candy today. I thought they might be too sweet, but I liked the finished product even though I overcooked the ribs. I think I month like this on bacon.
