We all just got back from the Tabasco Farm/Factory….very interesting stuff! You’d never think about how labor intensive and time consuming it is making Tabasco, we all learned quite a bit. We first ate lunch at the Tabasco Restaurant on site. Great food! I had a cup of gumbo and a gigantic shrimp po boy, very good!

To prove to the group how brave and fearless I was, I led the group into the tour, which was fraught with danger!……🙄

Another reason I went first was to protect the group in case of a bear attack! Luckily we didn’t encounter any, I would have hated dirtying my clothes in a fight with a wild bear.

The Tabasco Museum was a hoot. I snapped this pic of John stalking a gator to wrestle it. Unfortunately, my battery died and I could not record the battle.

Well, PJ almost lost his perfect ass wrestling that Louisiana gator. smokenoob said that any one of his Florida Gators would have eaten Panhead John alive in just 1 bite since they were very angry Saturday afternoon.

Here’s the gator I was gonna wrestle, he was a good 20-25 footer! …….
This was at Jungle Gardens nearby.

3lbs of dried ground up pepper pulp for $10. It tastes like Tabasco sauce and will be a great way to add that flavor to a dry rub.

love the idea of the powder, but it would take me years to use 3 lbs of it
