Fantastic start! So 3 full chimneys of charcoal to start off with... was wondering what it took. And it sounds like you experienced one of the things I keep reading about... it’s super easy to lock in temps on a Good-One, and once you do it pretty much parks it there for the duration of the cook. At least that’s what it seems from your initial experience. After seeing the Open Rnage in person, can you talk about capacity? How many slabs of St Louis ribs do you think you could squeeze in there, and how would you do it? What about packers? Do you see yourself grilling on this cooker or using it for reverse sears? Sorry to bombard you with questions so soon... just can’t help my curiosity:-)

Thanks fer them kind words, brother!
Yup, I'm very impressed by th degree of temp control I experienced, on my burn in; never once fiddled with my fire, an only twiddled vents an damper , out of curiosity
I'll let ya know more, as I proceed...
No worries bout 'bomardin me with questions'; ya need never feel afraid to do so.

I been delicately tap dancin all aroun that minefield, half surprised, half hopin nobody had/would bring that up!
I got some ideas...reckon my first thought was Bluebonnet, to reference both Texas, an Boss Spearman...
Tonight, Phylicia also comes to mind...
Mebbe I should start a poll...or at least a new post fer that???

Have someone drop you off. I'll slow down to 35 and you can hook an arm around the mirror and swing yourself in.

        They got me covered!

Even before alla th paper work, an shippin was finalized, I ordered me a cover for my GOOR...

It arrived swiftly, is very heavy duty material, an features adjustable nylon web straps, with tactical quick release buckles...
        KUDOS, Good One!!!!!

Most other cooker manufacturers should take a good, close, careful look at this cover, an up their game!!!!
