I don’t think you are ready to leave your day job yet, but looking at those smokers you have a good start working on it.

These pits are amazing. But even more amazing are your vision, your drive to accomplish a dream, and your craftsmanship in the perfect execution of the product. My hat's off to you.

Excellent Henrik Those smokers look amazing. Looks like first class craftsmanship! Just curious, how long does it take to build one of those?

Thanks John! Good question, been trying to figure that out myself as I build it in different sessions. But I guesstimate 2 days.

I made my mom a plaster ash tray one time in first grade. THAT took me two days.

Planning on starting my homemade offset soon, if it becomes the vision it will resemble a wheel barrow haha

Thanks! Well, I for one root for ya, just remember to share pics and ask questions here in the pit so we can cheer you on, wheel barrel or not :-)

Way Cool! Forgive my ignorance, still learning, but my impression from reading others, is that reverse flow is easier to maintain even cooks, so why would one opt. for a non reverse flow?
    Thanks

It’s slightly more even temps in the cook chamber. But everything changes when you put food in either, and it’s also (as always) down to personal preferences.

Great job Henrik. So now you can come to the US any time you want to check out smokers, eat and see friends and write it off as a business expense.
