well, it’s been a long time since I was on the Pit, so I figured I should re-introduce myself.

For those who know me, I’ve been gone 6 months while starting a new job. I closed my personal consulting business and went back to work in a corporate security job. It’s been a great experience, but the first half year has been incredibly consuming. The company is a global manufacturing firm and I’ve ended up traveling globally more than I’ve been home for the past 4 months.
But, hopefully things are settling down and I’ll be able to join in the fun in Pitmaster again.
About me .... I live in western Washington, in a little town called Maple Valley. I love to BBQ and grill .... and cook generally. I currently own a Hasty-Bake Gourmet, a Weber Smoky Mountain 22.5â€, and .... most recent addition ... a Blackstone pizza oven.
Accessories include a Fireboard (best thermometer EVER), grill mats, Williams-Sonoma bbq tools (best tongs ever), all sorts of grill baskets, a Thermapen Mk IV, tons of squeeze bottles for sauces and so on.
Last night I cooked NY strips and ribeyes for dinner .... today I’m cooking a couple racks of back ribs.
