Really? Is it legal there now?
-
ComfortablyNumb It’s semi-legal here; You can only buy at dispensaries, and a license to grow it is about impossible to get. What I meant is that we’ve had a couple giant busts where people were growing it in remote parts of forest preserves.

I see, the days of underground weed are in the past here. I'll make it a point to get a picture of a farm around here, then my joke will make sense to you.

As I was getting ready to go home on Friday I was asked to run a misload (package put on the wrong delivery truck) over to Twisp so it could be delivered. Stopped to get a few pics on the way back.
From Highway 20 looking south into the Methow Valley.
Same location, looking to the northwest.
Summit of Loup Loup Pass looking to the east.
Same location, looking towards the south.
Made it home and have been holed up since.

I went to Wenatchee today and took my old, trusty coffee mug. We (that would be Mrs. CN and myself) had breakfast at the Wild Huckleberry.
Mrs. CN had the Veggie Omelet choosing biscuits and gravy as the side. I had the Granny Smith Omelet (diced German sausage, Granny Smith apples, garlic onions bell pepper and Swiss cheese) with hash browns and toast for my side. Mrs. CN let me have her gravy, so I drowned my hash browns and omelet with it.
If you find yourself in Wenatchee and looking for breakfast, this is the place to go.

HawkerXP No, the apple was diced into small pie shapes, I would guess they cored it, sliced into rings, and then cut into wedges. They were still crunchy. I should have taken a picture of the food. Next time, wasn’t my first visit, and won’t be my last.

Windless day on the Columbia River in Hood River, OR. This occurs when a high pressure dome builds up. Normally the offshore highs push wind through the central corridor towards eastern WA/OR. But, today was 96, Tuesday will hit 108!! Hey, we're not in Texas!
The hunk holding the beer is our son-in-law, not me. 😏
