I always like to buy new. Then you know how it has been treated.

        A more thoughtful answer

        Distance traveled = {[Original cost of grill - Selling price] x Desirability } / 10, where desirability is between 0 and 1.

I like the part where you said, "I need another Weber kettle like I need another hole in my head..."

I look constantly on Craigslist or OfferUp. Do I need one? no, but if there’s a good deal I just might need another one. Besides the wife looks at houses we’re not going to buy so why can’t I look at grills I probably won’t buy?

I think my limit has been 30 minutes or so.

How much of a savings is it vs how bad do I want it vs how good of shape it’s in = how far I’ll drive. The ratios are yet to be determined.

Well I think the roundtrip for my used Weber was 1.5 hours and that's probably about my limit. We stopped for a nice lunch on the way back, so really not a big deal. Enjoy your "new" cookers.

I once drove 45 minutes one way for a Plum Stainless Steel Performer. The price was right at $75 and my Saturday was wide open. That's probably my limit though unless it was a rare yellow one from back in the day.

Not very far as I have no interest in kettles at the current time.

Yeahbut, you're missing your SF and suffering from pellet pooper withdrawal, To Summit up, you aren't exactly without a kettle to carry you through.

To Summit up is exactly why I have zero interest in a kettle. I don't collect them, so the big boss kettle is all I need ;-)

Would not walk next door let alone drive anywhere for either.
