    I'm thinking...

    or

This was spotted in Austrailia/New Zealand. My immediate thought? What would I use the triangle for? Then I realized I would probably use it for a small chunk of wood.

that master touch premium (or whatever it's called) is the first thing I thought about when I saw that tease...but then like others mention below it seemed to be gasser related.. Something to dream about anyway.

Had an El Camino back in the day. Would love to get one, simply for the nostalgia.

      Midlife Chrysler?

Livermoron - I think you have just coined a new phrase!

Oooh yea. On my FB they seem to be teasing something to do with a gas grill. I am sure that is just a ploy. They will probably announce the WSCGC now available in red color. That would be huge.

Oh no brother, it is probably the opposite of what they are showing. Weber is funny with there "Announcements".

Although, I should add, I am actually in the market for a nice Weber gasser. Been thinking about the one Troutman has. Would be cool if they had something new. Never had me no gasser!

Well, time will tell. Maybe they'll have something for all of us?

I'd be happy if they would just incorporate probe ports in all their charcoal grills.

Sure! Take away the only kettle mod! Who will buy the step drills!

You would still need a step bit for the fan mod. So there!

I noticed when the WSCG was announced that there was room in the part numbering scheme for something like an 18” Summit Charcoal grill?

Last time Weber had a big announcement to make AR had a prototype to test so they could have a review ready the day it released... the free site crashes that day with so much traffic lol... that was for the Charcoal summit.

Im still hoping for a Weber pellet pooper.

I want something between a Premium kettle and the Summit charcoal. I have no need for the WSC or even the Master Touch kettle per se, but the kettle with some minor improvements wouldn't be a bad thing. Not needed, but not a bad thing if they were there IMO. I won't say exactly what I'm thinking because many things I say a year later become real products and I gets me no royalties....

Sorry I should have put my *read sarcasm* in that post. Actually Baby Back Maniac made a good point in one of his videos where he said something along the lines of he purchased the summit because he figured with that being on the market now the 26 performer would never happen.

Nate Oh I agree completely, that's why I'm so ecstatically FOR it, because I think: a) it hasn't happened all these years then there was never a plan for it; and b) now the WSC took over that prospect. I hope all 3 of us are wrong.

LOL, I think a Performer kettle base with a hinged lid that is air insulated. Kettle hybrid that is closer to being airtight. Also probe port in the base.

FB said it was an electric kettle. But then again these FB boys get that syrup in 'em, they get all antsy in their pantsy.

I don't do FB, however "all things sid" I would have to agree with the above statement regarding a viscous material.

This is what I am thinking in order of likelihood:

A work over of their Genesis line.
        A different size WSCG
        Less likely:
        26 Performer
        26 WSM

The 36" WSM will have a pulley assist to get the lower grate and water bowl out. Water pan will have a 20 gallon capacity lol.

A 26 performer would be cool, but seems like it would be priced a bit too high to really catch on and meet their numbers requirements.

Saw that too. While the picture is a gas grill, who can say that the marketing department is just not using a stock photo of a steak on a Genesis grate for the teaser. They would not use the actual device being announced in the photo I expect.

On another note, I helped my son put together the Spirit II E-310 I bought him as a wedding present last night, and I am impressed by this new GS4 gas system. Impressive amount of huge blue flames coming out of those burners compared to my 2002 Genesis Silver A. Nothing like firing up a brand new grill for the first time anyway. Time will tell how it holds up, and at least he has a 10 year warranty, which in the paperwork did not appear to exclude much of anything.

26" Performer WOULD be the bomb.

My Spirit is roughly 10 years old. Early in its life it got a LOT of use. Not so much any more. It has held up well, although I store it in the garage with a cover. I did use it last week for planked swordfish. It really is a nice grill.

26" Performer is on my wishlist for sure. With gas-assist lighting like the 22's Deluxe (if the burner would fit under the SnS properly), I will throw my money at them with force.

i'm hoping the marketing team has finally figured out the fact that the Summit smoker/grill is way overpriced. LOL.
