Can't beat the price! My guess the rack is not stock with the grill. It looks like a cross between a roasting pan rack (the square shape) and a canning rack (the dipping handles).

I have no idea what that part is but it is not part of a Performer! Sweet deal! If ya ever care too, the new Performer metal table top is a direct bolt on replacement for the old fiber/plastic top. Must have.

                Lonnie Mac,

Do you happen to have a link for getting a metal table? I sure would like to replace my plastic table.

I have purchased a LOT of weber stuff over the years from here. Just put your model number of your Performer for all the parts ya want or need. https://www.ereplacementparts.com/we...-c-193079.html

Look at your top vent for a code like "BB" and see how old this one is here http://weberkettleclub.com/determine-age-of-old-grill/ The plastic table is covered for 10 years under warranty. No longer carry plastic, I got a metal one for free.

I think just maybe it may be a roasting hanger rack if turned upside down from how you have it displayed. Maybe to hang wibs or chickies. Just mebbbe.

It's a Fanortner rack for the exhaust system.

Pretty sure my old man would have called it a Hicktamiker!

Nice score. The gas lighter for charcoal is way more useful than you would ever think. Enjoy!

Man I almost got one of Craigslist for $80, thought that was a killer deal, but free? Sweeeet !!!!

Like everyone else, no idea what the rack is but I'll bet it's for hanging stuff rather than cooking, too flimsy for that.

Thanks everyone for the replies, used it last night. Love the gas light feature. Definetly will be retiring the smoky mountain from grilling duty.

You can’t get it no cheaper than that. Maybe you should ask your Aunt about that rack, she might need it.
