Sharp-eyed viewers might note a discrepancy in th' amount of smokers in this pic, vs. the last one, above.
That's because today CL provided me with a 2005 18.5" WSM, an' a 1986 22.5 kettle, with accessory hooks, charcoal rail (1), hinged and non-hinged cookin' grates an' even a chimley...
$75 WSM, gorgeous condition!!!
$15 Kettle, nice shape
H Date code on 22.5" Kettle=1986
Shameless, self-indulgent self-portrait in WSM porcelain. :-) Real Artsy-Fartsy!!!
More self-promotion, Weber-Style!
DO Date Code on WSM=2005...

Weber 26
Weber Performer 22.5, Weber 18.5, WSM 18.5, Smokey Joe
2 Slow N Sears, Charcoal Rotisserie, Kettle Pizza for Weber 22.5, Vortex, Grill Grates
Smoke Thermometer, Igrill, Thermapen, Thermapop,Maverick 2 probe
I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I put it in my food.
One cannot have too many grills.
Mr. Bones Outstanding...More with less. My first smoker was the red electric Brinkmann. Did a lot of overnight and butts until the unexpected overnight rainstorm. Right about then is when I found this site..

Them lil red electric Brinkmanns can put out some damn good smoker food, huh?
Still use mine to perpetuate an earlier wood 'n charcoal cook overnight, sometimes.
Made a LOT of great food in it, much of which is posted on this site...Last edited by Mr. Bones; April 3, 2017, 09:27 PM.

Weber Summit Kamado with SnS and Vortex.. Broil King Baron, Primo Oval Junior. Primo XL. Love grilling steaks, ribs, and chicken. Need to master smoked salmon. Absolutely love anything to do with baking bread. Favorite cool weather beer: Sam Adams Octoberfest Favorite warm weather beer: Yuengling Traditional Lager. All-time favorite drink: Single Malt Scotch
Of course, you now will need the SNS, Drip n Griddle pan, and ash catcher for that Weber 22.MCS never ends, it sometimes just rests for a while...

Mr. Bones I would love to find some deals like that. I'm more or less a novice smoker, pretty good on a gas grill, but once I got into the charcoal, I couldn't stop. Love my PBC, but been wanting to play with more toys (I think I'm amongst similar minded people around here). I think I would enjoy a Kettle because I could put a SnS in there, use small amounts of charcoal, and grill for 2 efficiently. The gasser is nice for a quick cook when you work a long day and want to eat quick, but you just can't enjoy it as much as the real thing. I'm gonna start lookin, but I'm not sure where to start.

Skelly It's super simple; even I can do it...
Jus' check yer local trade papers, newspapers, craigslist, garage sales, estate sales, etc., at yer convenience.
Lotsa smokers fer sale this time of year: MCS means many gettin' new gear, wife sez ol' gear must go...
