The Performer is a rock solid choice!

Fine unit! I love the color. I got the same color in honor of the first memorial Bonesy cook.

I have 7 or 8 cookers, too many to remember now. While each has its own strengths and weaknesses, if I could only have one, it would be the Weber Performer with the rotisserie. It can do most anything and do it well. As mentioned above, get a 5lb or bigger tank of propane and not have to bother with the expensive disposables that seem to run out when most inconvenient.

Well I guess so. They probably sent you a Thank You note the next day.

Have fun with those new toys.

Enjoy! I've said for years that if I could only have ONE grill, and had to ditch all the others, my Weber Performer Deluxe is the one grill I would keep. It's just the most versatile and flexible of all my grills. And to be honest, startup from clicking the propane ignition button to having charcoal ready to cook on is much faster than over on my SNS Kamado, using starter cubes.

I've had a Kettle on the patio since 1989. Indispensable. Gets used at least once a week, usually more.

                            You will enjoy that.

Nice. You might never go back to the others. Can’t do without a kettle.

Congrats. Hard to beat one of, if not the, most classic pitmaster cooker ever.
