I picked up a Ranch a few years back and LOVE cooking on it. I usually run a couple SNS XLs in it, one on each side, if I am doing pork butts or briskets. You can easily fit 3 briskets or 6 butts on it so it can handle some volume. I have also put the SNS XLs together in the middle and kind of made a makeshift Vortex and done over 100 wings around the outside.
Can't remember if I paid $300 or $500 when I got it off Craigslist. The lid has a couple dents on it but the previous owner upgraded the wheels which was nice. They don't pop up used often but if you check FB Marketplace and Craigslist regularly you might see one. If you do see one for a good price snap it up because it won't last.

As someone who has coveted the Ranch Kettle for years, but has recently come into possession of a different new pit that needs my undivided attention - yes, you need the Ranch... if for no other reason so that the rest of us can live vicariously through your experience!
In all seriousness, though, it appears to be a great grill, and you seem to have strong affinity for Weber products. I'd say if you can swing it financially, go for it! If not, there's always the 26" that might scratch most of the itch, albeit in a more understated manner! Regardless, I wouldn't necessarily replace anything, because the WSM and Performer would still be useful for other tasks that might not suit the Ranch completely. Just my guess, as I've never owned a Weber (when I was younger, couldn't afford one, so we had knock offs - which I probably spent more on replacing than just getting a Weber to start with).

All right guys. I believe the group had their intended effect on me. Got through the holidays and realized how much I really needed this cooker in my life. I ordered it through Walmart today. Should be here January 17! I will be sure to post pics of the new set up.
I am not sure if I am supposed to say thank you for enabling my problem? 😂😂😂

This is like asking a bunch of drug dealers if you need to try heroin.
I'm late to the party, but I think you made a great choice. I can't wait to see what you do with it.
